Celebrity chefs clogging up pub drains

A change in the way pubs cook their foods are causing some serious problems with more pressure being put on chefs to come up with more adventurous, creamy sauces because of the programmes on the television, but that means more fats are going down the drains.
David Birkett, managing director of Serious says "If you're blocking a drain then the Environment Agency, the local council, the water authorities and even your neighbours have the right to prosecute"
Putting fats, oils and greases (FOG's) down sinks leads to a wealth of problems for hotel, pub and restaurant owners. Serious is well known for being able to diagnose, identify and rectify grease problems, saving many managers and owners the prospect of a £20,000 fine.
