Caravan Club Rally 2014

28th May 2014

The annual Caravan Club Rally took place on the Spring Bank Holiday at Arley Hall in Cheshire.

The National Rally, attended by members of the Caravan Club from all regions of the UK pitched up in the grounds of the stunning stately home for a long weekend of celebrations and socialising. The Serious Waste Management events team were tasked with the job of removing and disposing of all waste from site, including sewage, waste water, recycling and general waste. Over the course of the weekend, 189,000 gallons of sewage and 10 tonnes of dry waste was removed from site, with a large proportion of the dry waste being recycled.

Whilst the National Rally was under way, film crews from the Disney Channel were on site filming night scenes for their upcoming production 'Evermoor'.

Vicki Oldknow of Serious commented on another successful year of working with the Caravan Club, “It was the first year I’ve been to the National; the level of organisation from the Caravan Club was great and everyone seemed to be having a really good time... despite the heavy rain ”
