Caravan Club Rally 2013

3rd June 2013

The Caravan Club National was held in the grounds of Belvoir Castle, Nottinghamshire over the May bank holiday weekend. Whilst the rally started (and finished) with lashings of mud and rain, the Saturday and Sunday were basked in sunshine.

Serious were tasked with managing the collection, removal and disposal of the sewage, recycling and rubbish from the site over the weekend. Over 41,500 gallons of sewage and waste water was taken to a Severn Trent waste water treatment works. Nearly 14,000 tonnes of recycling and rubbish was collected and seperated from the attendees and exhibitors.

Ian, part of the 'dry waste' team and avid Caravan Club member remarked on another sucessful association between the club and Serious. "Every year we work with the Serious events team, we are always impressed by their professional, yet down to earth nature. Nothing is too much trouble for them".
